Autumn Break

Well... what a chaotic couple of months! A week off with the two Mr. T's is just what the doctor ordered. Fantastic weather and a special Birthday for Mr. T all wrapped up in Autumny splender has left me refreshed and ready for the run up to Christmas.

During our time off we got up to all sorts... a great deal of walking, took in a show and visited loved ones... as always Twm came with us almost everywhere. We did quite a lot of hopping around England and Wales which was exciting as we dont tend to venture over the bridge : )

Our first excursion was Tan Y Coed, a beautiful woodland walk, fairly local to where we are now but the scenary and autumn colours were sooo lovely that I thought I would share them... what make this walk even better is that the footpath through the tall Fir's was built by my soon to be Step Father!

For Mr T's Birthday we decided to go for a lovely long walk up Pen Y Fan which is part of the Brecon Beacons National Park. A fairly easy walk I thought as we had ventured up Pen Y Fan quite a few times before... little did I know that Mr T had discovered a different route up to the summit which left me and poor Twm feeling rather achy after, Mr T was thrilled and had a great day which along with the beautiful weather left us all tired but smiling.

The next stop on our autumn adventure took us to Stamford to visit my Dad, Lesley and Daisy. A short and sweet visit but making time to take Twm and Daisy for a stroll around Fine shade Woodland Park. The dogs had a great time running around and sniffing, whilst we humans ambled about taking in the autumny splender. We also payed a visit to my Grandmother in Basingstoke which was lovely... chatting, catching up and putting the world right : )

Our final destination was completely out of the ordinary for Mr T and I as we rarely go out for the evening. I had won tickets in work to see Cirque Du Soleil - Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour at the O2. We had an amazing evening... the show was phenomenal, I would highly recommend a visit to anyone who likes Michael Jackson’s music… but even if you don’t the show itself is a marvel.

Time off always flys by so quickly and I'll be back in work in no time... but all is not lost as I have had some great ideas for hooky christmas presents for family.

The BIG move...

Well the last few months have been an eventful few to say the least Mr T. and I have decided to up sticks and move West. So with our little house on the market we have moved into a cosy granny annex on the top floor of my Mum's house in Ceredigion. So here is a quick run down of my last few hectic months...

July - The move West and I have started a NEW job in Banking in Aberyswyth, which has been a whirlwind of excitement and at times a challenge. Especially with my degree still underway.

August - Izzy my little niece arrived bringing a little more joy to the world.

September - House hunting... as lovely as it is to be home with Mum and the family, Mr T and I are in much need of our own space. Twm the spaniel is thoroughly enjoying all the attention and a big house to roam around in, he has made himself quite at home.

Sadly crochet has taken a backburner with all the hecticness of moving and starting a new job... but I daresay that I shall dive into my yarn stash whip out a hook and crochet away to my hearts content shortly : )
